Harrietta Davis, 91, of Ottumwa, died at 12:36 a.m. July 21, 2022 at Ridgewood Specialty Care.
She was born January 30, 1931 in LaBelle, MO to Harrison and Bernice Smith.
Growing up in Missouri, Harrietta moved to Ottumwa when she was 18 years old. She worked for Universal Rundle for 22 years, retiring as supervisor.
Harrietta was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing at the hydro dam.
Surviving are her children, Linda Bell of Ottumwa, Cecil “Tito” Manley (Paul Maixner) of Seattle, WA, David Manley (Diana McNabb) of Ottumwa and Joe Manley of Bloomfield; a brother, Joe Smith; a sister, Margie Greenfield; 3 half-brothers and half-sisters; and a ton of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Alberta Robinson; a son, Russell Manley; a sister, Lena Mae Bryant; and a brother, Henry Smith.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services and inurnment will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 29th at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Diane Koger officiating.
