First Resources has been awarded a grant from the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council.
According to a press release, First Resources Corporation (FRC) has been awarded the Employment Transformation Grant through the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council. The purpose of this grant is to address and improve the employment outcomes of people with
developmental disabilities and to help agencies better provide supported employment opportunities. According to FRC, the Transformation Grant will assist the Employment Service Program with marketing, recruiting, and supporting employment of individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Southeast Iowa.

FRC hopes to continue to be a strong community partner and looks to utilize opportunities like this to promote services and enhance programming in order to provide the best care, instruction, and services to their clients. FRC provides services throughout Southeast Iowa, including Albia, Bloomfield, Ottumwa, Pella, and Sigourney.
