The Evans Middle School Student Council will host an ice cream social to raise funds to purchase smoke detectors for Ottumwa residents.

Fire and Ice will be held Tuesday, May 17 from 4-6 p.m. at the North Fire Station. Tickets are $3 each or two for $5. Tickets may be purchased in advance from a student council member or purchased at the event. The event is sponsored by the Evans Student Council, Hy-Vee, and the Ottumwa Fire Department.
