A former Davis County Schools employee who was accused of facilitating an inappropriate relationship with a student recently found out his sentence.

54-year-old Paul Fleetwood of Bloomfield pleaded guilty to first-degree harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to two years in prison. The charges of sexual exploitation by a school employee and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, both aggravated misdemeanors, were dismissed as part of a plea deal.

Fleetwood was arrested in September of 2018 after an investigation determined he had tried to start an inappropriate relationship with a Davis County student. Court records indicate the incident happened in July of that year.

Fleetwood was in charge of the Sustainable Foods program in the Davis County Community School District at the time of his arrest.
