BLAKESBURG——Blakesburg Corn Carnival will be Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22.
Friday Schedule:
9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Horticulture/canning/home baked products exhibit sponsored by Blakesburg Garden Club, in the Community Building (bring in items 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Judging at 5. Cash prize awarded.
Vendor Fair (across from City Hall in future Library)
3:30 p.m. Coins in the Corn for kids in the Park
4 p.m. Smitty’s Inflatables in the Park
5 p.m. Dinner in the Park fund raiser for Kids DC Trip
5 – 6 p.m. Cake Walk sponsored by Blakesburg Library
6 p.m. Kiddie Parade line up by Post Office (Theme: Future Farmers)
6:30 p.m. Pie Auction in the Park ( Blakesburg Corn Carnival Fundraiser)
7 p.m. Music in the Park
8 p.m. Raffle Drawing
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21
7 – 10 a.m. Breakfast at United Methodist Church
9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Garden Club Horticulture show.
8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Todd Harter Memorial Car Show (Awards at 3 p.m.)
9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Petting Zoo in the Park
11 a.m. Big Parade “No one Fights Alone” (line up at 10 a.m. at Blakesburg Elementary School
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Nauvoo on the Road in the Park Sponsored by BHPS.
12 noon Smitty’ Inflatables in the Park
12 noon Don Sandifer Tractor Show in association with Poppin’ Johnnies of Southeast Iowa. Registration until 2:30 p.m. Awards at 3:30 p.m. (Located by Fire Station)
12:30 p.m. Renee’s Kids Games; All ages welcome!! (In the park)
2:p.m. doors open play begins 3 p.m. Bingo in Elementary School Cafeteria. Sponsored by Blakesburg Historical Preservation Society
2:30 p.m. Registration for Kiddie Tractor Pull. Ages 3 – 8 up to 80 pounds (located by City Hall)
3:30 p.m. Bath Tub Registration Races Sponsored by Blakesburg Volunteer Fire Department
4:30 p.m. Keg Water Fights by Blakesburg Volunteer Fire Department
5 – 6 p.m. Cake Walk (sponsored by Blakesburg Library)

7 a.m. Weigh-in for Tractor Pull; Pull starts at 8 a.m (Located by Blakesburg Elementary)
10:30 a.m. Community Church in the Park Co op dinner after services. Everybody welcome.
