Drakesville man facing numerous charges


(Drakesville)—- A 45 year old Drakesville man is facing numerous charges following his arrest by the Davis county Sheriff’s Department.

Roger Blew has been charged with 28 counts of animal neglect, livestock neglect and duty to dispose of dead bodies.

Davis County Sheriff Dave Davis says 8 of the charges are serious misdemeanors  which could carry up to 1 year in jail on each count.  The remaining charges are all simple misdemeanors charges which carry up to 30 days in jail on each account.  Bond for Blew has been set at $1,000 cash only.

Davis says in addition, the Iowa DNR has filed an additional 10 charges against Blew.  Those charges stem from no valid game breeders license, failure to file annual report game breeder and game breeder records violation. All of these charges are simple misdemeanors.
