The symphony board’s “25 Men Who Can Cook” has been so popular that it seemed like a good time to give the ladies a try. The cast of Ottumwa-area women who will be serving some of their favorite dishes includes Jill Ardueser, Kim Ardueser, Kim Hellige, Amy Kramer, Tricia Smith, Mary and Anna Graeff, Geri Kearney, Sheri Locke, Cathy Mosier and Tracey Boyer, Beth Wilz, Joni Jordan, Becky Graeve, Lyn Williams, Coleen Denefe, Melissa Carpenter and Nancy Emanuel.

Attendees will be able to sample the culinary delights from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Then the evening will continue with a raffle for $1,000 in prizes as well as a wine pull and silent and live auctions.

Among the auction items will be two RAGBRAI VIP tent passes which includes a food buffet and an opportunity to meet former Iowa Hawkeye football player Dallas Clark as well as other Hawkeyes and celebrities; dinner at Centro and tickets to the play of your choice at the Des Moines Civic Center for two; soup, salad, sandwich and dessert for 10 people; dinner and drinks with Bob Morrissey and Jeremy Weller (winner of the entree selection at 25 men) for 12 people; a Kayak adventure for four including kayaks, transportation, life jackets, drinks, snacks, lunch and tour guides; Chefs table for 8 at Bridge View Center featuring five courses with wine pairings and dinner at Louie’s Lakeside Bistro & Bar for 10.

Advance tickets to “Dives who Dish” are $20 and are available at Hotel Ottumwa, Tony’s Flowers, the Divas competitors, symphony board members or by calling (641) 777-5604. Tickets will sell for $25 at the door.
