BLOOMFIELD, IA – Davis County football will have to wait at least another week to try to secure their fourth win of the 2020 Fall season as the Mustangs athletic administration announced Tuesday that their game scheduled for this Friday, September 25, at West Burlington/Notre Dame has been canceled due to players having to quarantine.

Davis County Athletic Director, Dave Mason, informed Ottumwa Radio Group that a, “number of high school football players have been quarantined/isolated due to close contact/direct exposure with a positive case. Therefore, Friday night’s game has been cancelled.” No further information has been released at the time of publication.

As the schedule currently stands, the Mustangs will return to play next Friday, October 2, in Bloomfield versus Mid-Prairie.
