The Iowa State men’s basketball team has been ranked No. 24 in the Associated Press Preseason Top-25. It marks the 57th consecutive week in the top-25 for the Cyclones, which is the third longest streak nationally behind only Kansas (143) and Arizona (79).

The Cyclones return a pair of starters from last season’s team, including Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year Monté Morris. Matt Thomas also returns coming off the best season of his career and Nazareth Mitrou-Long is back from injury. The 2016 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year Deonte Burton also returns and is expected to start when the Cyclones face Sioux Falls Sunday in an exhibition.
