The Class 1A and 2A postseason baseball brackets were released today.
In Class 1A….
In first round action Pekin Panthers will play host to the Lone Tree Lions on July 2nd at 7pm, the winner will advance on to take on 1A #3 New London at New London
In Class 2A….
In first round action the Van Buren County Warriors take on the West Burlington Falcons at Cardinal High School on July 2nd at 5pm, the winner will advance to travel to 2A #9 Mediapolis on July 5th; the Cardinal Comets play host to the Central Lee Hawks on July 2nd at 7pm, the winner to take on 2A #8 Mid-Prairie in the first game at Mediapols on July 5th
In second round action the 2A (RV) Davis County Mustangs get a first round bye and will take on the winner of Albia/Pella Christian at 7pm on July 5th
