The City of Ottumwa has released the list of closings for the Independence Day holiday.
According to a press release from the City of Ottumwa, the following offices and services will be affected by the Independence Day holiday:
- All City of Ottumwa departments and offices at City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3rd
- The Ottumwa Water and Hydro offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd
- The Ottumwa, Calvary, and Jewish Cemetery office will be closed July 3rd
- The Ottumwa Public Library will be closed on July 3rd and 4th
- The Ottumwa Recycling Center and Landfill will be open until 3 p.m on July 3rd, and closed July 4th
- Friday trash and recycling pickup will take place on Thursday, July 2nd
- The Beach Ottumwa will be open on July 4th from noon to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting
