Albia Woman Behind Bars After Drug Bust

An arrest has been made in connection to the drug bust in Albia last week.

Albia Police found Danielle Douglass, 23, in a vehicle and took her into custody last Thursday.

Douglass has been charged with Possession with intent to deliver cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine. She also faces two counts of Possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of Possession of prescription drugs without a valid prescription.

Douglass is currently in the Monroe County Jail on a $21,000 cash only bond.

According to Albia Police Chief Jay Andrews, this investigation remains ongoing.
