The City of Ottumwa would like to remind residents that the dumpsite for branches and limbs that opened up this summer has been closed since August 11. The city requests citizens not bring any more limbs or other organic yard waste to this location.
The Wapello County Landfill, located at 13277 165th Ave, will accept limbs, branches, leaves, and grass clippings free of charge from private residents. However, the loads must be tarped.
