This afternoon at 5:23 p.m. Oskaloosa Police received a 911 call from a concerned citizen at the Oskaloosa Urban Skate Park stating that a young male was there showing a gun in his waistband.
Officers arrived on scene to search for the suspect. After a brief search the male was located inside of the Penn Central Mall with a toy pistol. The male was detained and interviewed regarding the incident and later released to his mother.
It was determined there was no threat to the public at any time during this incident.
