Sherri Lee Stevens, 64, of Ottumwa, died at 2:55 a.m. August 12, 2024 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
She was born October 24, 1959 in Ottumwa to Estol and Helen Teeter Humble. Sherri married Jackie Kyle Stevens on November 13, 1976.
A 1978 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Sherri loved doing crafts and gambling at casinos. She was a small business owner for over 20 years.
Surviving is her husband, Jackie; their son, Josh Stevens of Troy, MO; 2 grandchildren, Paisley and Tucker Stevens; 2 sisters, Kathy (Terry) Carroll of Morrison, IL and Sue (Larry) Greiner of Ottumwa; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be open at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 15th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 16th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clark officiating.
Cremation will follow the services.
Memorials may be made to the family for her grandchildren’s education.
