The city of Ottumwa says no one was injured in a house fire that occurred early Tuesday morning.
At 3:20 AM, emergency personnel were dispatched to a fire on the 400 block of North Weller Street. Officials say three individuals were in the home at the time of the fire but were able to escape the house. ORMICS checked out the three occupants at the scene, and none of them chose to go to the hospital.
The house sustained significant damage and the neighboring homes suffered minor damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
