James T. Denny, 73, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at Prestige Care Center in Fairfield.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, Iowa.
Jim was born June 18, 1951 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of William and Betty (Leonard) Denny.
Jim worked for Waste Management. He enjoyed music and working on cars.
Those left to honor his memory include his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Clarissa Denny of Fairfield; grandchildren, Sony (Ethan) Ellis and Edwin Denny; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Denny of Ft. Madison, Becky Johnson of Burlington, and Pam Denning of Burlington.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Brandon Denny; and sister, Peggy Cecil.
