Ottumwa Police responded to a call of shots fired on Wednesday evening.
According to a press release, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 10:04 p.m., the Ottumwa Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the 200 Block of West 5th Street. Officers arrived and found several ammunition casings and bullet holes in the residence. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting but the residence did sustain damage from the gunshots.
