State Farm Agent Shawn McCarty, serving southeast Iowa from his office at 604 W Burlington in Fairfield, along with Ottumwa Radio Group want to congratulate PCM Cross-Country runner Abi Tetter, our 104.3 KRKN Athlete of the Week!
Last week, Tetter became just the fifth freshman in school history to qualify for the state cross-country meet. She was able to accomplish this feat while enduring cystic fibrosis, a condition that causes the body to produce abnormally thick mucus in the lungs.
Our KRKN Athlete of the Week feature is made possible thanks to the generosity of Shawn McCarty and State Farm Insurance, plus the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of. Please join us in congratulating Abi Tetter!
