Joseph Alan Jackson Jones, 51, of Eldon, died at 8:53 p.m. July 18, 2022 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
The son of Billie and Beverley Pettit Jones, Joe was born November 3, 1970 in Ottumwa.
Joe attended Cardinal Schools. He worked at Golden Furrow and was currently employed at Nutrien Ag Solutions where he drove a semi-truck.
Joe liked to ride his motorcycle and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving is his companion for the past 30 years, Melody Headley and her children, Brandon Headley, Vanessa Lemke and Justin Lemke; and four grandchildren. Also surviving are Joe’s siblings, Steven L. Jackson (Renea Surber), Dianna Marks, Donna (Richard) Tully and Linda Jackson (Mike Cox) along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger Jackson.
Visitation will be open after 11 a.m. Monday, July 25th at Reece Funeral Home with his family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
