Comets blast Mohawks in four inning 12-0 win

The Cardinal Comet softball team defeated the Moravia Mohawks 12-0

The Comets had a bat around opening frame scoring 7 runs while sending 12 batters to the plate. The inning saw eight Comet hits (2 doubles) and a Mohawk error. The Comets lead after starter Nicoa McClure tossed a 1-2-3 top of the first, to have the Comets leading 7-0 after one inning. The Comets would scatter 5 runs over the next three innings, with one in the second, as well as two runs in each of the third and fourth innings. While the Comet offense was rolling so was Comet starter McClure. McClure over the final three innings she completed the no hit and perfect game in four innings. She would face 12 batters in the four innings, while striking out three.

With the win the Comets improve to 18-11, while the Mohawks fall to 9-13
