Rosina Berniece Carroll, 101, of Ottumwa, died at 3:40 p.m. April 29, 2022 at home.
She was born January 6, 1921 in Beaconsfield, IA to Floyd G. and Gladys M. Brown Moore.
A graduate of Beaconsfield High School in 1938, she worked at LinDen’s and J.C. Penny. She enjoyed visiting with others and working in her yard.
Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Christina Carroll of Ottumwa; three grandsons, Ray (Robyn) Carroll, Todd (Peggy) Carroll and Brian (Amber) Carroll all of Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Stacy Carroll; two great grandsons, Cody and James Carroll; many nieces, nephews and cousins of the Moore and Brown families as well as the families of her companion, Lee Wymer.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary W. Carroll and Con J. Carroll; her parents; three brothers, Harold, Donald, and Roland Moore; and her companion, Leland F. Wymer.
Visitation will be open after 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 4th at Reece Funeral Home with her family present to greet friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Graveside services and burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shaul Cemetery with Pastor Mel Kendall officiating. For those unable to attend, you may view the service live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page.
