A Health and Wellness Fair is being presented next week by the Jefferson County Health Center.
Jefferson County Health Center is inviting the public to the Health At Every Age Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event is intended to connect health resources with area residents and will have nearly 50 booths, activities, and demonstrations available for children and adults.

Highlights for this year include a landing by the MedForce helicopter, demonstrations of emergency access equipment by the Fairfield Fire Department, a look at animal lungs under ventilation, and a laparoscopic surgery activity. The most recent event was originally planned for 2020, but was put on hold due to the pandemic. Weather permitting, some activities will take place in JCHC’s courtyard and parking lots. Attendees will receive a custom JCHC tote bag and water bottle, and the first 100 attendees will receive a baseball cap. Door prizes, including a FitBit Charge 5, Rec Center passes, and fitness equipment, will also be given away.
