Bonnie Jane Thompson, 70, of Ottumwa, passed away April 18, 2022 at her home.
She was born March 26, 1952 in Ottumwa to Harlan Max and Dorothy J. Fitzgerald Thompson.
A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, Jane graduated at the top of her class from the Registered Nursing Program at Columbia College, Columbia, MO.
She loved and cared for her animals, Dock, Codey, Katie, Tobey, Sweet Pea and Sadey.
Jane is survived by her son Donnie Walker (Kris Brown) of Ottumwa; two grandsons; a granddaughter; three great granddaughters; a sister, Tamera Thompson (Rich Kepsel) of AZ; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Catherine Thompson-Coffe, Karla Thompson and Anne Brinegar; two nephews.
Her body has been cremated. No services are planned at this time.
