James Lester Franklin, 86 of Birmingham, Iowa passed away March 25, 2022 at Parkview Care Center, Fairfield, Iowa. In accordance with his wishes his body has been cremated. James was born on September 20, 1935 in Van Buren County, Iowa to Belva Oletha (Conkle) Franklin and Bert A. Franklin. He married Fae Long and they had six children, Connie (Keith) Johnson, Bruce (Lolena) Franklin, Julie (Brian) Pedrick, Gene (Deb) Franklin, Greg Franklin and Curt (Rebecca) Franklin. James and Fae later divorced. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and a daughter, Julie Pedrick.
