A former Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont High School wrestling coach is accused of sexually abusing a woman in Minneapolis three years ago.

Brett Little, 40, has been charged with third-degree criminal sex conduct—force or coercion, a felony in Minnesota. The incident allegedly occurred in April 2019

According to police, a female and her friend were out drinking in Uptown Minneapolis. The pair felt buzzed and were having difficulty securing an Uber for a ride home. Little, in town for a wrestling tournament, and three other men offered to help the women find a ride from a bar.

The group went back to a rental house where the men were staying. Authorities say the victim recalled sitting on a couch in the house feeling heavy and paralyzed.

The victim told police her next memory was Little on top of her engaging her sexually. The victim attempted to call out to her friend but Little allegedly put his hand over her mouth, placed a pillow over her head, and put his hands around her throat.

At approximately, 6:15 am, the victim reportedly woke up with her clothes on the floor. The victim and her friend left the house. Officials say her friend corroborated the victim’s account of the evening when they spoke to investigators about the assault.

A warrant for Little’s arrest was issued and he was apprehended in Keokuk County.

Little was transported to Minnesota where he is being held in lieu of a $100,000 cash-only bond.
