Three Arrested in Albia Drug Bust

Three Albia residents were taken into custody after authorities carried out a search warrant on Sunday.

61 year old Daniel Eugene Curnyn, 55 year old Kelli Curnyn and 37 year old Daniel Patrick Curnyn were arrested after officers from the Albia Police Department and deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department confiscated marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The three suspects were transported to the Monroe County Public Safety Center. Daniel Eugene Curnyn and Kelli Curnyn were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released from jail on a $1,300 bond each.

Daniel Patrick Curnyn was charged with possession of marijuana (his second offense), possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently in the Monroe County Jail on a $2,300 bond.
