|Tracy is the Traffic and Billing Director for Ottumwa Radio. We call Tracy the resident genius here. As you can tell from the hair, he is wise beyond his years. Unfortunately, his time at Woodstock did take a toll — you know… free love and all that. During flashbacks he reminds you of Doug in the movie “UP!”… SQUIRREL!!!|
|Margie is a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant with 19 years of advertising experience. She covers Van Buren, Jefferson, Henry, Keokuk and Wapello Counties.|
Lindsey Chapa has worked at Ottumwa Radio for 16 years…(she started when she was 12) 🙂 Lindsey has been happily married for over 18 years and has 2 kids. A gorgeous little girl and a handsome little boy. In her spare time she loves spending time with her mom and the rest of her family! She is also a huge fan of the Saint Louis Cardinals! Lindsey enjoys creating marketing campaigns and commercials for clients and helping them be successful in business.
|Mike is no stranger to radio in Ottumwa. He started his career in broadcasting at KBIZ in 1962 as a part-time announcer while in high school. After an absence of several years, Mike returned to KBIZ in 1986 where he has reported the news for the past 30 years.|
|Calynda Argo has been a Marketing Consultant for Ottumwa Radio since 2008. Calynda enjoys getting up every day with the challenge of helping her clients with a successful marketing campaign. This involves listening to her client’s needs, putting proposal’s together and working with our production department to make a powerful commercial driving customers to her clients. The territory Calynda work is Des Moines, Fairfield, Oskaloosa, Ottumwa and Pella Iowa along with Kirksville and Memphis Missouri.|
|Jason Van Arkel||Jason joined Ottumwa Radio in 2011 as sports director. He serves as the play-by-play voice of Ottumwa High athletics. In addition, Jason works as the primary sports reporter, covering everything from local sports to the Hawkeyes and Cyclones.|
|Sara Jane has been with Ottumwa Radio since 2012. She covers Albia, Blakesburg, Centerville, Rathbun Lake Area, and Ottumwa.|
|Melissa wears many hats at Ottumwa Radio. Not only is she the KBIZ Morning Show Co-host but she’s also the Operations Manager, office mom, snack supplier and keeper of the Ibuprofen. Tune in 1240 AM or 102.7 FM KBIZ, Monday through Friday, to hear stories about her crazy life and her scarves, many, many scarves. Melissa has been with Ottumwa Radio since 2012. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, camping, or just about anything outdoors.|
|Ottumwa Native, Derek “BIG D” Schlegel is your gateway to today’s best music on 97.7 Tom FM. He is currently the program director of TOM FM, deciding on what music to play, and when to play too much of your favorite song. You know the one, the one that you can’t get out of your head. You can also catch him on hi morning show, where he answers the tough questions, like “What’s annoying your favorite celebrity”, and “Is your cat trying to kill you?” The answer is obviously YES.|
|Nick Davis is the on-scene reporter for Ottumwa Radio. An Ottumwa native, Nick graduated from Ottumwa High School in the class of 2008, and Indian Hills Community College in the class of 2011. He got his start in radio during college running a soundboard for high school sports. He moved to the news department in the winter of 2014/15 and hasn’t looked back since. In addition to his duties in news Nick manages many aspects of OttumwaRadio.com, Ottumwa Radio on Social Media and is currently the host of the KBIZ Dialogue Program.|
|Drew Elizabeth is a huge Doberman & animal lover. Born and raised on a small farm by Packwood, Iowa. Drew loves her Dobermans’ and close group of best friends and would give anything for them!! She is very laid back, sarcastic and funny sense of humor. Hard worker and would go out of her way to make sure everyone is happy and will work hard for you!

|Katie is the Traffic and Billing Assistant for Ottumwa Radio. Outside of work she is am usually with her family and friends. She enjoys spending time with her sweet little girl who loves to play softball. When she is not keeping Katie busy, she is usually outside doing some kind of activity. You can usually find Katie in the garden growing all kinds of good stuff to eat.|
|Angie Johnson is the newest addition to the Ottumwa Radio team. She covers Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Fairfield.|
