The Ottumwa Civil War Round Table has been active since 1992.  We have an excellent presentation by O.J. Fargo:  “The Life of the Common Soldier”.  Dressed in Civil War clothing, Fargo will describe life on the march and in the camps for the ordinary men who served.  His program has received great praise for its interesting and informative content and his entertaining presentation, and is underwritten by Humanities Iowa.  His program will appeal to all! He will also bring  a searchable, sort-able data base of all Iowa troops in the Civil War.
