The Ottumwa Historic Preservation Commission is hosting a tour of two districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  We will travel by trolley from the Market on Main through the Fifth Street Bluffs and Court Hill Historic Districts at five times throughout the day on Saturday, May 20.  Members of the HPC will describe some of the history, architecture, and importance of properties along the way.

Tickets for this family-fun, educational, arts and culture event are $15 each or 2 for $25, and are available at Ottumwa City Hall room 204, or by calling 641.683-0606.   Up to 25 guests can ride the trolley for each tour at 9:00am, 10:30am, noon, 1:30pm or 3:00pm.

On the same day, Main Street Ottumwa will sponsor their Upstairs Downtown event.  Multiple buildings will be open to showcase living spaces in the upper stories of downtown buildings.   Spaces are shown in various stages of completion, from early in construction to beautifully finished properties.
