The annual Blakesburg Corn Carnival will be Friday September 22 – Sunday September 24. Carnival rides with Midway Amusement Associates begin 12 noon on both Friday and Saturday.

Friday, Sept. 22:
4  p.m.   Vendor Fair with crafts, business displays, bake sale and Quilt Show at Blakesburg Elementary School Gym, south edge of Blakesburg.
3  p.m.    Park activities begin with Barn Yard Billy, Coins in the Corn, Harvest Contest, Coin Toss.
4  p.m.    Harvest Contest  (biggest pumpkin, etc. at Fire Station)
5  p.m.   Talent Show  All talent acts welcome
6  p.m    Kiddie Parade (Line up at Post Office 5:30 p.m., Disney theme, all entries welcome)  Trophies to winners, ride tickets to participants
7  p.m.   Pie Auction in the park
8 – 11 p.m.   Music in the Park with Bridge City Country sponsored by The Tractor Pull Association and Blakesburg Corn Carnival
9 p.m.   Raffle Drawing on stage in the Park

Saturday, Sept. 23
7 to 9 a.m.  Breakfast at the United Methodist Church
8 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Todd Harter Memorial Car Show (Awards at 3 p.m.)
9 a.m. – 6:30  p.m.  Vendor Fair
11 a.m.   Big Parade,  theme  (Vision of the Future)  Cash Prizes  All entries welcome.  Line – up 10 a.m. at Blakesburg Elementary School, south edge of town.
11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Nauvoo on the Road  (in the park)
12 noon  Carnival Rides begin
12 noon   Don Sandifer Tractor Show in association with Poppin’ Johnnies of Southeast Iowa located near Fire Station on north edge of town.  Registration until 2:30 p.m.  Awards 3:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. Park activities include: Chicken Bingo, coin toss and Rene’s Kids Games (All ages welcome)
2:30  p.m.  Registration for Kiddie Tractor Pull, ( Ages 3 – 8 up to 80 pounds)
4  p.m.  Coins in the Corn  in the park  (sponsored by Troy Elevator and Dwight & Dorothy Wells)
4:15 p.m.   Registration for Bathtub Races   (City Hall)
8 – 11 p.m.  Music in the Park with “Sez Who” on stage
9  p.m.  Raffle Drawing
