OTTUMWA-Dorothy Jean Sapp Beedilla, 58, of 826 E. Finley, died at 5:52 a.m. March 12, 2017 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born June 24, 1958 in Ottumwa to Eddie E. and Leona Surber Sapp. She married John P. Beedilla on February 7, 2004.
Dorothy was a LPN and had worked at Ottumwa Manor for 30 years, and with in-home care.
She had attended First Pentecostal Assembly of God in her younger years.
Dorothy enjoyed Pokemon Go, fishing, loved angels and being with her family and family gatherings.
Surviving is her husband, John; her daughters, Dorothy Joe (Mark) Buchanan and Tammy Sapp both of Ottumwa; three grandchildren, Aundrea (Ashley) Buchanan, Brenden Buchanan and Spencer Sapp; a great-grandson, Jase Buchanan; her siblings, Eddie E. (Tara) Sapp, Carrie (Don) Quinby, George E. Sapp, Roy E. Sapp, Jane E. Petersma, Helen (Todd) Stuart, Debra L. (Glenn) Olson and Becky Surber; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Loyd Osborn officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present will be 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the family.
